TERMS & CONDITIONS:

  • For orders that are $400 or less; payment is required in full in order to book and secure your order. 50% of the total is nonrefundable.
  • For orders over $400, a 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to book and secure the order. The remaining balance is required 2 weeks prior to the event. If final payment is not received at the specified due date, the order shall be cancelled.
  • Any major changes (ie. color scheme, design, size and/or flavor)  made to an order less than 1 week (7 days) prior to the desired due date will incur a change fee added to the invoice and required to be paid in full no less than 72 hours prior to the due date. The order shall not be fulfilled if change fee payment is not received in full at the time stated. No major changes will be considered for an order less than 72 hours prior to the desired due date.
  • Acceptable payment methods include: Credit/Debit Card, Venmo and Business Checks. Personal checks are not accepted.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Should you decide to cancel your order more than 2 weeks prior to the due date and the total invoice has been paid, 50% of the total will be credited to a future date, subject to our availability. If we are unable to reschedule, the order will be cancelled and 50% of the total will be refunded. This is a result of any prep work that may have already been done, materials that were purchased, and an open time slot that would be unfilled. 
  • Should you decide to reschedule your order more than 2 weeks prior to the due date and the total invoice has been paid; the total and order details will be credited to a future date (within 6 months), subject to our availability. If we are unable to reschedule; 50% of the total will be refunded. This is a result of any prep work that may have already been done, materials that were purchased and an open time slot that would be unfilled. Christie's Creations will not consider requests to reschedule an order less than 72 hours prior to the due date. No refunds will be provided.
  • Orders cancelled within 1 week of the desired due date will not receive a credit for a future order and will not receive a refund.


DELIVERY/ CAKE CARE:

  • Delivery fee is subject to distance, time, and availability  (includes correction of any damages that may occur during transportation).
  • Under NO circumstances is Christie's Creations liable for damages once a cake is picked up or after it is set up at a venue and meets our quality standards.
  • If a customer opts to pick up a cake, it is the customer's responsibility for the condition of the cake thereafter. Once a cake is accepted and approved by a customer at the time of pick up, Christie's Creations is no longer liable for any damages incurred during transportation.
  • Please respect our time, it is as valuable as yours. If a customer selects to pick up the cake, it is imperative that the customer is on time. There will be a late fee incurred of $10 for each 15-minute interval that the customer is late. The customer will be unable to receive the cake unless the fee is paid in full.
  • Our cakes and desserts are made 100% from scratch using the highest quality ingredients, therefore, please allow up to 2 hours for the cake to come to room temperature before serving. Refunds will not be considered due to cake texture and/or flavor, as this is subjective.
  • Cakes should be stored in a cool setting, away from heat and direct sunlight to avoid damages.  The customer is responsible for providing an adequate temperature/environment for the cake. Christie's Creations is not liable for any damages to a cake as a result of inadequate temperature.
  • Cakes should be eaten within 3 days for optimal freshness. Extras can be wrapped tightly in plastic wrap, stored in an airtight container and frozen up to 2 months.

REFUND POLICY:

  • Christie's Creations will not provide refunds for our products once it has been delivered/picked up and approved by the client/designee.
  • Cakes created by Christie's Creations are an artistic interpretation of the supplied image(s),  rather than an exact replica. This is to avoid any potential copyright infringement.   Thus, refund requests shall not be considered due to Christie's Creations, not 100% replicating decorating style, color scheme, or design details of inspiration pictures.
  • Partial refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and will only be considered if the product does not meet the flavor, size, or general design requirements provided by the client at the time of order placement.
  • If you are unsatisfied with the cake, Christie's Creations will consider a future credit if the cake/product is returned to us within 24 hours of your event and determined to not meet our standards.

ALLERGEN NOTICE:

  • Christie's Creations can provide vegan and gluten free options.
  • Please be aware that our products may contain and/or come in contact with common allergens such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts and/or wheat. We take extreme precaution and utilize steps to minimize the risk and safely handle the foods that contain potential allergens. However, please be advised that cross contamination can still occur, as factors beyond our reasonable control may alter the formulations of the products we create and/or manufacturers may change their formulations without our knowledge.
  • It is the customer's responsibility to ensure and notify the guests of any allergens that may be present in the product(s) created by Christie's Creations.
  • Christie's Creations is not liable for any allergic reactions, as this is the customer's responsibility to disclose on the order form at the time of inquiry.
  • If you or any of your guests, have severe allergies, we highly recommend that you consult with an allergen friendly bakery. It is within the discretion of Christie's Creations to turn away clients with disclosed severe allergies.
